This referendum is about making sure more of us are represented when decisions are made about BC’s future. That is how democracy is supposed to work. I’m proud to add my name to the growing coalition from every party and corner of the province who continue to push for reform. It gives me optimism for the future.
Kishone Roy has been involved in campaigns and causes in BC for decades.
Recently, as CEO of the BC Non-Profit Housing Association, he chaired a coalition that raised over $10 billion for affordable housing in BC, and helped found a mutual fund that manages over $500 million in socially responsible investments. Kishone has also worked as a senior advisor to federal and provincial Liberal leaders, for electoral reform, Simon Fraser University, and the Share Society.
Kishone holds a Master’s degree in Leadership from Royal Roads University, and is the author of Make Housing Central: BC and the Affordable Housing Crisis.
